Bangkok now has a school for whiskey appreciation

Brush up on your knowledge of Scotch with these whiskey classes.

Purveyors of quality whiskey William Grant & Sons want to brush up our knowledge on what constitutes good whiskey with its new Whisky Academy.

 

The first session of a three-level course commences this Oct 1, from 10am-5pm, at Smith restaurant, following a curriculum put together by Glenfiddich’s Southeast Asia brand ambassador Matthew Fergusson-Stewart.

Called The Whisky Apprentice course and costing B3,500, it aims to teach you about the history and distillation process of whiskey as well as how to best appreciate it. You'll also get to taste approximately 10 whiskies from different regions of Scotland.
